Our company does its best to increase productivity and develop its people professionally in the light of the organization's mission and corporate values. Human capital is the most crucial factor for us, and in PMD, we will continually formulate policies and operations to ensure our people's professional development and well-being.
Effective communication and transparency with employees are highly prioritized in our organizational structure. Within each of our departments, we make sure that people are aware of all the changes and developments in the company. In PMD, every process, including newly-established procedures, is outlined with people's needs as well as with their future professional development.
Professional development
Professional development is a major priority for PMD Group. Our long-term strategy includes the professional development of our employees. To achieve this goal, we have conducted comprehensive training programs and funded educational opportunities in different fields for all levels of staff within the organization. As an essential part of this strategy, we have signed contracts with different local and international institutions and became members of professional organizations. The previous year we became a member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). With this initiative, we have given opportunities to our employees to become CFA, CIA, and CIPS members. Moreover, we highly encourage our people to achieve the best results in examinations to obtain professional certifications.
Our training programs are not only limited to worldwide certificates, but we also consider local trends and developments. In light of this, we create opportunities for our employees to join different committees and attend meetings to obtain necessary local qualifications. As an organization, we are thrilled to support our people in their career enhancements, and we are filled with pride to see their successes and achievements. PMD will always be committed to its people development strategy and continuously improve it.
Awards and recognitions

For all of our achievements, we are thankful for the hardworking people in the teams of our organization. To show our gratitude, we have started to award people who have been with us for five and more years.
Internship programs
Young people are the foundation for the better future of Azerbaijan. Since 2016 we have started implementing internship programs for young talents by signing partnership agreements with universities. Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction was the first university that joined our educational initiative. During two years of our partnership, qualified students who completed internship programs were recruited to different positions for the projects teams within our organization.
Moreover, we have participated in different educational and career fairs over the last years to attract and recruit more young talents as interns. We cooperated with ADA University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University to create more professional opportunities for youth. This year, we have successfully hired fifteen interns to work in the various departments of PMD. During their internships, they gained essential skills and knowledge while experiencing the professional environment of the corporate culture. Five of them were qualified, and they were recruited as full-time employees for different positions within the company's departments.
As corporate citizens, we deeply care about the education of Azerbaijani youth, and we will always support them in their professional development. Our company is looking forward to developing the talents of young generations, and we will do our best to continue these programs for the further prosperity of society.
